The Sondheim Review is the only professional publication in the world dedicated to the work of Stephen Sondheim (biography) . Founded in 1994 and published four times per year, the print magazine is available by subscription or on the newsstands at selected Borders, Hastings Books and Records, Books-a-Million, Barnes & Noble, Virgin Megastores, and selected specialty music and bookstores.

This web site is designed to supplement our printed magazine. Subscribers and longtime readers can peruse back issues and obtain new information about Sondheim shows. For those of you who have just discovered The Sondheim Review, this web site is an introduction to what the magazine contains, how we look and how you can subscribe. We also offer the latest Sondheim books, recordings, videos, and scores at a significant discount!

We invite you to browse, to read our FAQs for background, to look at the table of contents for each issue, to enjoy a selected article from each issue, to see if there are Sondheim shows in your area you'd like to see, and to visit other related sites. Enjoy!
