The Sondheim Review

We're Now In Our 19th Year!

TSR will take a one-issue break

The Sondheim Review must take a necessary hiatus following this issue. We anticipate that the next issue will be published and mailed in September 2013. All subscriptions will be extended by one issue. Updates about publication status will be posted on this website, and we expect to provide occasional news to subscribers via email and TSR's Twitter feed, @SondheimReview.

HIGHLIGHTS

In the Spring 2013 Issue ...
A Funny Thing Happened in Melbourne, Sondheim videos on YouTube, the film of Gypsy marks its 50th anniversary, and more.

The Sondheim Review is the only professional publication in the world dedicated to the work of Stephen Sondheim (biography) . Founded in 1994 and published four times per year, the print magazine is available by subscription and at selected specialty music and bookstores.

This web site is designed to supplement our printed magazine. Subscribers and longtime readers can peruse back issues and obtain new information about Sondheim shows. For those of you who have just discovered The Sondheim Review, this web site is an introduction to what the magazine contains, how we look and how you can subscribe.

We invite you to browse, to read our FAQs for background, to look at the table of contents for each issue, to enjoy a selected article from each issue, to see if there are Sondheim shows in your area you'd like to see, and to visit other related sites. Enjoy!
